Chef Murat Deniz Temel is currently in the kitchen of Alaf, a restaurant that stands out with its terrace overlooking the Bosphorus. Alaf’s slogan, “a migration story fed by its roots,” is reflected in its diverse flavors influenced by various cultures, including the Yoruk heritage. The dishes are cooked on a wood fire and served on copper plates that are uniquely designed by the in-house team. Alaf offers two types of menus: an a la carte menu and a “Chef’s Head Tasting Menu,” which features the flavors of Anatolia and the nomads. Additionally, their drink menu includes a selection of wines made from local grapes found in Anatolia.
