Located in Kurtuluş, İstanbul, founded by Despina Kanlı, Türkiye’s first female tavern owner, the venue has hosted many guests for years. “Rum pilaki” is served warm, unlike the other types of pilaki dishes, and it is the recommended dish that bears the life traces of Madame Despina. The thinly sliced sauteed liver is also one of the favorite dishes of the tavern.
